Tana Besendorfer

Tana is co-author of Gluten-Free on a Budget. She has been a passionate cook since the age of 11 when she got her first job at her hometown restaurant making pies. Tana is known by all who associate with her as one of the greatest cooks. She is a foodie with focus on health and nutrition to heal the body.

Tana was a buyer for Real Foods Market for many years where she sought out the best products to be featured in their one of a kind store. At Real Foods she was also in charge of all company retreat menus and cooking. Tana's meals were some of the most exciting part of the trips for many. Her greatest passion is still cooking with and for her family. 

Tana especially loves making the holidays more enjoyable for everyone with themed, nutritious food that would put a smile on anyone's face. Friends of the family often congregate at her home just to enjoy her famous cooking. 

Tana also co-owns two successful businesses with her husband and business partner. When not in the kitchen, you can find Tana traveling, spending time with her family or creating digital scrapbooks.
